For over a decade I have performed as a DJ for various corporate & private functions, (award events, galas, corporate presentations, holiday parties, cocktail events, etc.) learning how important it is to read a room correctly and engage a diverse crowd through customized playlists. My extensive song library encompasses contemporary top 40, soul, funk, pop, disco, rock, jazz, r&b, radio friendly hip-hop, electronica, Latin, and more ( no techno, unless requested ). It’s based on the best selection from each genre helping me take a strategic, intuitive approach in creating a fun social environment that boosts morale and instills camaraderie amongst your guests. An experienced DJ can invigorate a dance floor and keep people partying throughout the evening. They have a mix of skill and knowledge that lets them read what is going on in a room and adjust the music accordingly. Should there be lively upbeat background music during more of a networking event ? Is it time to play a slower song and let people get food? Is it time to play energetic music to get people dancing and singing along ? Professional DJs can let the music ride the ebb and flow of the room like a wave, both responding to the needs of the audience and subtly encouraging them at the same time.

 

YOUR INPUT IS IMPORTANT

Many of the brands & clients rely on my experience to build just the right playlist, but I do encourage input in the music selection process. Any type of genre or a "Do Not Playlist" or ,with reasonable notice, any specialty song can easily be downloaded and made ready available. My focus is to make the process simple and easy, ensuring that every guest feels involved and has a memorable experience, for me that's a must and I take great pride in making that happen.
